Is it something in the water? Employees at ABC have been leaving in droves and now they aren't even offering explanations as to why. Recently Jacob Rascon announced he would be leaving the news team as well, and Courtney Fischer was close on his heels with her departure news.
The reporter has worked at ABC since August of 2015 and was loved by many viewers. While Country Fischer may not have offered an explanation for her sudden departure, Houston media blogger Mike McGuff did. He claimed that the reporter "will leave the TV biz for a position with Harris County."
However Fischer herself has not proven or disproven McGuff's claim as she remains silent on all her social media platforms. Viewers were shocked as headlines like ABC Reporter Country Fisher Leaves were plastered across the internet. Especially since she was just sharing photos of herself smiling on set over Thanksgiving. However, it doesn't seem like they will be getting closure any time soon.
