Many of us are guilty of going against our better judgment to satisfy a sweet tooth, but one sticky-fingered Uber driver allowed his cravings to push him to extremes.

Tasked with delivering over 300 cinnamon rolls to a farmer's market event, the sugar-obssessed driver instead stole the hoard of sweets for himself.
Florida-based bakery Roll & Dough addressed the dessert theft on TikTok, claiming that their Uber driver stole roughly $3000 worth of cinnamon rolls that were destined for a farmer's market that they were attending.
"Normally, I don't get very angry. But today was the first day in my life that I think I ever got so angry to the point where I just wanted to sit down. Just sit in the sun and cry," one of the bakery owners, Julie Pierre, said in the viral TikTok.
Pierre was also peeved about the lack of a full refund for the $205 she spent for the Uber driver to deliver the haul of sweets. The baker said that she only received a $100 partial refund from Uber.
"I was still charged $100 for something that was never delivered," Pierre said. "This money quite literally pays for my payroll. It pays for the kitchen that we're using. And the bakery that we're also in the process of building out."
Several TikTok users berated the unidentified driver in the comments.
"I wanna know what the hell he need with three hundred cinnamon rolls," a user wrote.
"How did he decide that stealing 300 cinnamon rolls was a good idea ???" another replied.
"Imagine going to jail for stealing cinnamon rolls," a TikTok user joked.
Baker Presses Charges After Being Robbed of 300 Cinnamon Rolls
Pierre later revealed that she pressed charges against the driver and that Uber eventually processed a full refund.
In a statement to Axios, Uber said, "The report is very troubling, and not the experience we want users to have. We're continuing to look into this so we can take appropriate action."
The company has removed the driver's access to the app as it investigates the incident.
Pierre has launched a GoFundMe to help open a permanent bakery space. Funds will also help buy a van to transport products and equipment.
So far, the GoFundMe has raised nearly $4000 towards her cause.
