The parties throughout the streets of Philadelphia after the Eagle's win have been massive. However, for two men the Super Bowl celebrations ended fatally after they were shot down in a hail of bullets.

Now, I should preface this by stating that Philadelphia has between 400 to 600 homicides a year. So, two people getting shot to death in the streets a night is pretty average, maybe even low for a Super Bowl win.
At 3 am, while revelries were still in full swing, police responded to an incident at Claridge Street and Adams Avenue in the northeast. A call had been made about someone wielding a gun.
On arrival at the scene, they found two men who had been shot to death amid the Super Bowl celebrations. Both men had multiple gunshot wounds.
The first man, a 32-year-old, was found slumped in the driver's seat. He had multiple bullet wounds to the face and body. The second man, in his late 20s or early 30s, had managed to open the passenger side door. He was found on the ground outside the vehicle also with multiple gunshot wounds.
Super Bowl Shooting Was Premeditated
Footage from the scene shows that the hit was planned. A video from the night of the Super Bowl win shows the men being shot from another car. A statement from local police reveals what happened. "You can see a white sedan — four-door, appears to be a Honda with heavily tinted windows — pull up next to the parked Jeep," Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said. "Someone gets out of the driver side, someone also gets out of the passenger side, and they begin firing shots into the jeep."
The shooting is not expected to be connected with the Super Bowl celebrations. No arrests have been made so far and police are struggling to identify the two hitmen.
The city was already in full swing with Super Bowl celebrations. Consequently, it was the perfect night for a hit. The police were already overloaded because of the thousands of people on the streets. However, Philadelphia is no stranger to the odd homicide every day.
