It seems to indicate plenty of fire where there's smoke. Morris just fresh off being a guest at the splashy Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce wedding in New York. However, she isn't trumpeting their relationship. She is seemingly announcing her own very personal connection with The Voice winner.

Per The Sun, the twosome shared one snap of themselves hugging each other in a friendly way and blissfully smiling. That one is captioned by Pope, "Trying to get bb to move here, everyone help." The other pic, though, is a racy smooch on the lips. It's sassily captioned in Pope's words, "she won't go out with you because she's out with me, silly @marenmorris"
Morris Shared That She Is Bisexual Two Years Ago
In June 2024, Maren Morris revealed she is bisexual, per the outlet. She was formerly married to Ryan Hurd from 2018 to 2024. They have a son, Hayes Andrew Hurd. If Morris is indeed in a relationship with Pope, it would reportedly be the singer's first public romance with a woman. For her part, Cassadee Pope concluded a relationship with Sam Palladio two years ago. Both Pope and Morris are 36 years old.
They Have Known Each Other for Years
Per Cosmopolitan, "The two singers have a history dating back nearly eight years, having collaborated on tours and supported each other through public feuds and personal milestones." They have crossed paths at major industry events like Academy of Country Music Awards in 2019 and a year earlier, at the CMT Next Women of Country Impact Awards. In addition, per the outlet, Pope "served as an opening act for Maren during her Girl: The World Tour."
Furthermore, the singers reportedly found themselves siding against Brittany Aldean four years ago. They both clapped back on Aldean's allegedly transphobic comments.
What might gave been the spark that ignited a more intimate connection between the two is anyone's guess. Their fans can only wish that it's a keeper for Maren Morris and Cassadee Pope.
