We all have the odd bad day at work here and there, but they don't usually entail getting hit by a car.

A WSAZ-TV news reporter was just about to start speaking live on air when she was hit by a car, throwing her to the ground. Looking back on the event, she is able to laugh it off.
Thankfully, she was unhurt and even managed to pick herself up and finish her segment. Now, that's what I call professional. I take a day off if I sneeze too hard and hurt my back.
Tori Yorgey shared her memory of the fateful segment on her Instagram. "Shoutout to cousin Mikey for reminding me yesterday was my 'anniversary' of this gem?. Since so many of you are seeing this for the first time, please note that Tim could NOT SEE ME in the studio," she shared.
As she looks into the camera, the car can be seen approaching from behind. It is moving at quite a clip, and before anyone realizes it, the news reporter gets run over by the car. She can be seen lurching forward and to the ground, as the vehicle swipes her.
News Reporter Is Down But Not Out
Even before the reporter is back on her feet and in shot she is telling the anchor she was hit by a car. Ever the professional, she reassures him she is okay. Before the anchor even realizes anything is wrong, she's standing and ready to go again.
"Oh my god! I just got hit by a car, but I'm OK. I just got hit by a car, but I'm OK Tim," the news reporter says, still off-screen. Shaken, but still able to work, she returns to the camera. "That's live TV for you. It's all good." She deserves a raise for that noble dedication to reporting.
The adrenaline the reporter was feeling allowed her to stand up after getting run over by the car. She immediately funneled it into her job and managed to pull through. There aren't many people who could take a hit like that and still remember their lines.
