TV Host Shows Off A Gruesome Injury That's Not For The Faint Of Heart

TV host Jenna Bush Hager has sustained (another) gnarly finger injury, although this one is a little harder to look at than her other ones.

Fans and followers of Jenna will know that she's got a pretty bad history of breaking her fingers. With the dislocation of her middle finger, she's now sustained heavy injury to her fingers three times. While on yesterday's episode of Today with Jenna and Friends, she showed off her injury, but not without warning.

"Y'all may notice that I'm wearing a splint," she announced to her audience. "I may have you sign [it] during the commercial break," she said, turning to her co-host and twin sister Barbara.

She then explained that she had dislocated her middle finger. She didn't elaborate on how she hurt herself, but she was willing to show off what her finger looked like fresh from the injury.

Jenna then verbally warned the audience that they were going to show the image. She also told the producers to display a visual warning for any faint-hearted out there.

"If you're queasy, don't look at your television for the photo," was the final warning before they displayed her finger.

To be honest, considering how much they hyped up the injury, I thought it would be a lot worse than it was. I can understand that this is an awful sight for those averse to such unnatural 'formations' of the human body, but even so.

In retrospect, I should be glad that it wasn't any worse than it is. It sure does look painful.

This Is Not The First Time Jenna Bush Hager Has Hurt Her Fingers

The TV host has pretty ill-fated fingers.

"Now some people may think, 'Wow, that's the first time something's ever happened to your finger,'" Jenna sarcastically set-up.

Barbara then added, "But they would be wrong."

She previously broke her ring finger, and only in February this year.

"In the X-ray, the guy said, 'Seems like you have a lot of hairline fractures in this finger,'" Jenna recalled. "And I said, 'Well, now I've broken three of my 10 fingers.'" So yeah, some fracturing is to be expected.

"Things come in threes, so hopefully this is it for you," optimistically suggested her sister. Something tells me that destiny isn't going to stop at three, however. Especially when there are ten to go for.
