Brian Austin Green of Beverly Hills, 90210 fame opened up about losing the ability to walk and talk.

"I ended up with this neurological thing, and it was, like, stroke-like symptoms," he explained on the "Really Famous with Kara Mayer Robinson" podcast. The incident happened like a decade ago when he was around 40. "It was never completely diagnosed.. I had internal inflammation, so from diet. And then, they think, just emotional stress, not handling things well."

Things got really scary for the TV actor. He revealed it took almost a half decade to fully recover. He said that he basically "had to learn how to walk [and] talk again." It was a years-long process. Even afterwards, it took him a while to figure out other things as well.

He became terrified that he wouldn't recover and that the TV actor wouldn't be able to do his craft anymore.

"I had to learn how to sort of do everything again. I couldn't read. I couldn't write. Who I was, essentially, was no more. My brain and my body completely disconnected," he continued.

Fortunately, he said he started to improve. He also realized that "the emotions that I have been living with since I was a kid were a big factor in what was going on."

"I genuinely knew I was just sort of living in a state of constant fight or flight," he said. "I'd come back to her, and I'd go, 'Oh my God, I did exactly what you told me to do. I was terrified of doing it, and it absolutely worked, and I had an amazing conversation.'"
