One week after abruptly canceling their Memorial Day weekend shows, the Turnpike Troubadours have announced that they're going on "indefinite hiatus."
In a statement posted on the band's Instagram page, the group explained that the break is an "opportunity to heal" and come back stronger.
"We want nothing more than the opportunity for to heal, and to not put all of you through this ever again. To have a chance for any of this, we need to cancel all of our remaining tour dates. Turnpike Troubadours will go on an indefinite hiatus until a time we feel that everyone is of strong mind, body and spirit and can deliver what our fans deserve," the statement reads. "To all of you who have given us so much, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You believed in us, you raised us up, you stuck by us and you gave us more unconditional love than any band could ask for. We are humbled.

Among the band's canceled shows was a stop at Red Rocks in Colorado that was scheduled for June 18. Refunds for all shows can be made at the point of purchase.
The Turnpike Troubadours previously canceled 12 of their shows in November due to a personal issue.
The Turnpike Troubadours joined Miranda Lambert and Little Bit Town's The Bandwagon Tour last year. Lambert and Turnpike Troubadours frontman Evan Felker reportedly dated briefly in the summer of 2018. In August of 2018, Lambert told The Tennessean she was "single and happy." She has since married NYPD officer Brendan McLoughlin.
The Turnpike Troubadours released their album A Long Way From Your Heart in 2017.
