During the White House Correspondents' Dinner, President Trump made a wild announcement. And it came with merch.
A viral clip spreading across social media shows him joking with the media before revealing he planned to run for a "fourth term". And it's gone viral, with it reaching 7.1 million views as of June 26.
He starts off by goading the sea of journalists and media personalities in front of him. "Okay, we are all doing good together. That's why, tonight, to show how much I care about the press-- and I want to save your ratings," he joked.
And then came the announcement. "I'm pleased to announce my intention to - and this is somewhat of a scoop - my intention to run for a fourth term as President of the United States!" he exclaimed.
And then, the truly viral moment happened. He pulled out an iconic red hat. But, instead of the classic "Make America Great Again", this one looked a little different.
It read "TRUMP 2028". And he donned the hat for the rest of the conversation about his supposed election bid. "I won three times, now I'm going to do it again," he explained.
"Should be easy - I'm getting very good at running for president. No, I won three times..." Of course, in Trump fashion, he went on to denounce the 2020 election as "rigged", before vowing to "tighten up these elections because they really are in seriously bad shape."

The Internet Was Divided Over Another Trump Term
Of course, as with anything even slightly political, the Internet went up in flames.
Some were supportive of the President's bid. One commenter wrote, "This dude is a marketing machine, he knows how to keep you hooked no matter how you feel about him."
Other seemed to think he was joking, and that the whole thing was a rouse. "Best troll ever," one commenter mused, with another writing that "he is saying this tongue in cheek to rile the opposition."
Others were just plain confused, with a commenter saying, "Who's going to tell him that he can't?"
Whether this supposed election bid is a joke or serious, one thing remains clear. 2028 is looking to be a pretty crazy election year, Trump or no Trump.
