United States President Donald Trump has found a temporary solution to the media boycott against his administration.

On Monday (September 21), President Trump announced that he would be launching a brand-new platform for current events. The self-named platform will stream 24/7.

"TRUMP TV IS STREAMING NOW. 24/7, updated in real time, with top past moments, announcements, and the latest and greatest from the administration all in one place. Not every big moment has made it on your TV; now it can," the administration wrote in a release (via The New York Post).
Following the announcement, there was an outpouring of reactions on social media.
"So basically, since CNN and MSnow are leftist propaganda outlets, and the White House is making its own propaganda outlet, you get to choose your own propaganda?" one person asked on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"He still can't control the narrative no matter what silly channel he creates and promotes," a second user added.
"Yet another proof that there's no difference between the Nazi regime and the U.S. regime," a third user chimed in.
The launch of the new network comes after his decision to effectively ban three major publications from access to White House press coverage.
On Friday (September 18), Trump and his administration announced that CNN, Politico, and MS Now had been banned "effective immediately." He said the decision came down because he felt that the outlets' "cumulative stories over the last two years" were reporting "fake news."
Other major publications such as Fox News, CBS, NBC, and ABC declined to participate in coverage of the White House. Due to CNN, MS Now, and Politico being banned from media coverage.
The five publications released a joint statement standing in solidarity. In the statement, the outlets declare that the press should not fear reprimand over their reporting.
"The public has a vital interest in receiving accurate, independent information about its government. No administration should restrict a news organization because it objects to its reporting," the statement reads (via New York Post).
