Trisha Yearwood Unveils Pet Product Line Inspired By Her Rescue Dogs

Trisha Yearwood's entrepreneurial spirit has brought us her Food Network TV series, her cookbooks, the Trisha Yearwood Home Collection and products made in partnership with Williams-Sonoma, including dinnerware named after the Grammy award-winning country superstar's mother, Gwendolyn.

Add the Trisha Yearwood Pet Collection to that list. The singer's line of dog treats, grooming supplies and accessories is available now at trishayearwoodpetcollection.com and will be available online through select retailers (including Amazon, Lowes.com, Chewy.com and Wayfair).

The collection was inspired by Yearwood and Garth Brooks' rescue dogs, Emmy (rescued in July 2013) and Millie (rescued in Nov. 2018).

Per a press release, the pet line "honors and celebrates the resilience and spirit of rescue animals everywhere. As such, (Yearwood) stands out as a longtime and staunch supporter of The Humane Society of the United States and emphasizes rescue."

"I have always rescued dogs," says Yearwood in a press release. "I am that girl who will pull over on the side of the road and try to pick up an animal if they don't have a collar on. I think animals know. They think, 'Oh yeah this girl's a sucker. We got her.' So, it just seemed natural to me to be in this world because it's something that means a lot to me."

The "XO" design on the grooming supply bottles references "XXX's and OOO's (An American Girl)," a 1994 hit for Yearwood that was written by Matraca Berg and Alice Randall.
