Supermodel and businesswoman Cindy Crawford and her family have suffered an enormous and shocking loss with the sudden death of her and husband Rande's son, Presley Gerber. He was just 27 years old. TMZ cited the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner when the outlet reported that Gerber, who was a model and also a mental health advocate, died on Sunday, September 20. He was at a rehab facility at the time he passed away. No cause of his death has been issued yet. Autopsy results are reportedly pending.

A representative for Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber, and their daughter, model and actress Kaia Gerber, released a brief statement. Per TMZ, it said, "The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time."
