Tributes Pour In As Chuck Norris' Death Rocks Nation

Tributes have poured in for legendary actor Chuck Norris after his tragic death was announced by family this morning, March 20.

Chuck Norris was truly a national treasure. Known for his martial arts and his acting career in numerous 80s action flicks, I doubt there's many that don't know his name. And after Norris' family announced his tragic passing this morning, tributes have been pouring in from celebrities everywhere.

As reported by the Independent, numerous celebrities have been publicly mourning the legend's passing on social media platforms.

Guy Fieri said that Norris was his all time favorite. "RIP to the legend Chuck Norris. My all time favorite. Goods guys wear black", he posted on social media.

Lee Majors, who co-starred with Norris in several films, said that the loss was very personal to him. Their most famous roles together was in Walker, Texas Ranger, where Majors played Sheriff Bell.

"We lost a dear friend Chuck Norris today... and my heart goes out to his family. I know the millions of fans across the world are feeling this loss too, but for me, it's deeply personal," he wrote. "...He wasn't just a legend on screen he was a kind, strong, and genuine soul off of it."

He finished the emotional tribute with a funny yet touching message. "Hey Chuck... maybe you can teach the good Lord a few karate moves - I know He'll get a kick out of them. Rest easy."

Lots More Celebrities Have Posted Tributes to Chuck Norris

Stephen King showed himself to be a big fan of "Chuck Norris facts". These were a viral meme in the 2000s where people would post about how powerful Norris was. King posted a few of his favourites on social media.

"My fave Chuck Norris joke: Chuck doesn't flush the toilet, he scares the s*** out of it. / Second fave: When he was born, Chuck Norris drove his mother home from the hospital." He added, "Seriously, I thought he was great. SILENT RAGE scared hell out of my boys... and me."

Slyvester Stallone, who starred Norris in his action film The Expendables 2 in 2012, also shared his condolences. "I had a great time working with Chuck. He was All American in every way. Great man and my condolences to his wonderful family."

These are but a few of many tributes to the legend. He will be dearly, dearly missed. RIP, Chuck. As Lee Majors rightly pointed out - the Lord will certainly like your karate moves.
