Former Super Bowl champion Jason Kelce may be retired from pro football, but the Philadelphia Eagles legend is just as active as ever.

Kelce, 38, serves as a studio analyst for ESPN's Monday Night Countdown and, in April, joined Hendricks Motorsports as a pit crew member at Talladega Superspeedway during the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race.

Now, the adventurous NFL alum has entered the world of sumo wrestling.

On the latest episode of Kelce Versus Youtube, the former All-Pro center tried his hand at the Japanese sport. He even wore traditional attire, which his brother Travis Kelce joked about on their New Heights podcast.

"You wore the diaper," the Chiefs tight end said.

"It's called a mawashi. It's not called a diaper," Jason replied. "This is something that's been around for a very long time. So there's a lot of ... What's the word I'm looking for? Rituals and things that are specific to the sport that honor the past of it. And honor people that have done it or did do it in the past and are doing it now. The way they train, it was ridiculous."

Baring his post-retirement body, Kelce's mawashi attire inspired his wife to caution viewers before tuning into the YouTube special.

"If you do check out the sumo episode in particular, just remember that when you see that little chicken ass, it is mine," Kylie Kelce joked.

Former NFL Star Tries Hand at Sumo Wrestling

For Jason, his interest in sumo stemmed from his pro football career. After 13 seasons in the trenches against some of the most fearsome pass rushers and nose tackles in the NFL, Kelce wanted to see how his skills translated to sumo.

"My job in the NFL was to move 300-lb. monsters or to stop them from moving," Jason shared. "I've always wondered, 'Hey, does offensive line play have any carryover into the world of sumo?' "

Kelce added that although experts praised his technique, he doesn't think he could have been a star in sumo wrestling the way he was on the gridiron.

"I wouldn't have won a Super Bowl at this, but I'm going with this was a success!" Jason said on his New Heights podcast. "There is some definite carryover."
