Pierre Thomas Hospitalized After Suffering Heart Attack
The news, first reported by TMZ, noted that he was under care at a Las Vegas-area hospital. The outlet also noted that he and his family are "consulting with doctors on next steps."
There were initially conflicting reports that stated that the label co-founder had passed away due to the heart attack. But one rep for Thomas shut down the rumors in a statement. The rep confirmed that Thomas is still alive and receiving care from medical officials.
"We want to clarify that Pierre 'P' Thomas is alive and currently hospitalized receiving medical care," the rep shared in a statement caught by Variety.
The rep also added: "We ask that everyone keep P and his family in their thoughts and prayers and respectfully give them the privacy and space they need during this time. We deeply appreciate everyone's concern, support, prayers, and loving energy right now."
After the news of Thomas' heart attack went viral on social media, concerned fans sent their well wishes to the music executive.
"Damn, that's scary news. Wishing him a full and speedy recovery. Health really puts everything else into perspective," one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"Sending good vibes and a strong Wi?'Fi signal, hoping his heart finds a better block confirmation soon," a second user chimed in.
"Wishing him recovery, but wealth doesn't guarantee health," a third user reacted.
Thomas and Kevin "Coach K" Lee founded Quality Control Music back in 2013. Since the label's inception, they have brought several of the top acts in the genre to the forefront. Migos, City Girls, Lil Baby, and Lil Yachty are just a few of the acts that they have broken into the industry.
He also has three children. Two daughters, Journey and Khaleesi, whom he shares with model Lira Galore, and a son named Pierre Jr.
Wishing the music executive a speedy recovery.
