Myah Epps has so much going for her at 18 years old. She is a senior and a top high school basketball player at Indiana's Homestead High School. In fact, the New York Post glowingly called her "one of Indiana's top 2026 prospects." She already signed on to play for the University of Louisville women's basketball team.

But Epps' world was brutally upended on Friday, March 13. She was seriously hurt in a car crash when she was headed to school, per People. Epps most likely has a lengthy journey back to health.

According to a GoFundMe set up for Myah Epps. "Once taken to a local hospital in Ft Wayne she was then airlifted to Indianapolis. By the Grace of God she is still with us! However she sustained critical injuries and has a long recovery ahead of her. Many people have asked how they can help. This GofundMe has been created to help the family with the extensive healthcare expenses, hotel stays, food, and necessities."
As of March 17, there were 452 donations for a total of $51, 215. The goal was $50,000.
