Boots are like a fine wine, they get better with age.
In order to stomp your feet on the sweet southern Nashville soil, there's one thing for sure you're going to need. No, not Jack Daniels (Ok, maybe that too) -- but the one thing you'll really need is a good pair of homegrown cowboy boots. Sure, it's easy to go on Broadway and pick yourself up a regular ol' pair of boots, but the only way to really fit in around these parts is to stand out.
Nashville is proud of its history and character, so why not channel your inner Dolly Parton and rock a vintage pair? Whether you like fringe, intricate embroidery or metal embellishments, Nashville is home to many vintage boot retailers where you can find a one-of-a-kind pair that no one else will have. It doesn't matter if you're a local Nashvillian or just in town visiting for CMA Fest or a bachelorette party - these are the MUST SEE stores:
1. Pony Show East Nashville Outlaw Vintage
This hidden gem is nestled away in East Nashville and carries everything from vintage boots to locally made jewelry, home decor, candles, art, and other country-cute gifts. There are selections for women, men, babies, and even dogs. If you don't find a pair of boots that melt your heart at the first visit (which is rare) keep checking back because they bring in new boots on the regular! Boots at Pony Show typically cost anywhere from $60-$140; however, they can run upwards to $250 if you want to get real fancy.
