You can't trust everyone's hygiene. I find it incredibly jarring to learn that some people do not prioritize cleanliness in their lives. What's even crazier to me is that they swear people don't notice their smell either. Anyone with a decent nose can definitely smell you. Legendary rocker Tommy Lee is one of these people that subverts the routine of daily cleanliness.

Recently, 38-year-old comedian and Tommy Lee's wife Brittany Furlan spoke on an episode of the Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe podcast. There, she talks about how important cleanliness and tidiness is in her life.
However, her 62-year-old husband takes exception to one thing in particular: showering. "It's funny because the guys that I've dated before him were very messy, and that's a big yucky for me," she prefaces of Tommy. "I'm like, so clean. My house looks like a f--ing museum... My husband's very neat, which people wouldn't expect from someone who's a musician. They would expect him to be a f--ing nightmare, like, dirty. He doesn't shower a lot, but he's very neat."
Tommy Lee Keeps His Showering to An Absolute Minimum
Brittany goes on to explain that apparently, Lee's reasoning stems from Greek culture. Born in Athens, Tommy argues that showering is not a prominent fixture in everyday life. "He said growing up... that that's a thing in Europe. You don't need to shower every day. They would just do the white washcloth if they felt like they were getting a little funky. My husband showers, like, once a week," Furlan says.
The podcast host begs the question we're all probably asking: does it bother Brittany that Tommy doesn't shower often? Does she get the 'ick' from his shower routine or lack of one? Evidently, she's fine with it. Furlan finds her man irresistible regardless. "No, because he's so handsome. It's really crazy. He's a really good-looking guy. He doesn't really give me the ick," she says.
