Did Tom Brady Break the Rules?

In addition to calling games in the broadcast booth for the NFL on FOX, Brady is also a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. As PEOPLE reports, the league created rules to prevent a conflict of interest.

The league has yet to decide whether the former quarterback violated the "Brady Rules." Under the agreement, Brady cannot be "egregiously critical of officiating" or call officials' integrity into question. He also cannot enter another team's practice facilities. Additionally, any production meetings with coaches and players must be conducted virtually or off-site.

However, his comments about the referees' calls during the NFC North matchup could cost him $500,000 for a first-time violation.

What Did Brady Say During the Game?

The 49-year-old Brady first weighed in on a Packers offensive play.

"Oh come on, man," Brady said. "[Jordan] Love throws it over the middle. There are linebackers in the middle. [Barnes] is just turning his right shoulder away from it. That's allowed 99 out of 100... It's a bang-bang play. I know in super slow-mo, every little minute frame looks like a lot, but when you're on the field, you've got to pursue that ball."

The former New England Patriot added, "If [Lloyd] catches it, [Barnes] needs force to knock him on the ground. He needs force to knock that ball out in pass defense. He can't go in there and put his hand on him."

Brady was then stunned by a Packers defensive play.

"No, my goodness, what is that? There's no way," Brady said. "Brooks on the tackle kind of makes a great play. It's a bang-bang play. He rolls off his body; it's a great throw by Goff, that's definitely not roughing the passer.

He added, "You're just ripping through the line of scrimmage to try to get the quarterback on the ground. Look, I love [Jared] Goff standing there in the pocket, but you just can't tack it on 15 yards."

Brady was pretty riled up as the Lions brought out the field goal team to win the game.

His booth mate Kevin Burkhardt joked, "If anybody has any heart medication, bring it to the booth for my partner right now."
