Toby Keith Announces Two-Night Comeback in Las Vegas

Tickets go on sale on Oct. 27.

Toby Keith is returning to the stage in a big way this December, announcing two special nights in Las Vegas. Keith will perform at Dolby Live at Park MGM on Sunday, Dec. 10 and Monday Dec. 11. The two-night event marks the biggest shows Keith has booked since announcing news of his stomach cancer diagnosis in June 2022.

Keith announced the double header concert in a video shared to social media on Oct. 20. The singer said he's been on a "rollercoaster, but Almighty's riding shotgun. He's letting me drive for some reason." He then shared the exciting news. The shows coincide with the National Finals Rodeo also taking place in Las Vegas, and Keith mentioned fans could attend his concert while in town for the rodeo. He then stressed his desire to get back onstage.

"I was going to sit around here and do nothing like I have been, or get up and go outside and don't let the old man in," he said, referencing his 2019 song (which now serves as his new radio single).

Keith also called the concerts "rehab shows" and his way to get his band "back in sync."

"First time in my life I've been off over two years," he adds. "I've never been off a year in my life. Through COVID and cancer, the devil's been after me a little bit. I've got him by the horns right now. Instead of sitting around and waiting, we're going to get the band back together."

Although this marks Keith's first pair of full-scale concerts, the singer has performed at a few pop-up shows and music industry events since his cancer diagnosis. His most recent public appearance was at the inaugural People's Choice Country Awards in September, during which he was honored with the Country Icon award and performed "Don't Let the Old Man In."

Ticket for Keith's Las Vegas shows go on sale Friday, Oct. 27 at 10AM local time via Live Nation.
