Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are one of country music’s most popular and longest lasting couples. Now, the stars will both be inducted into the Music City Walk of Fame.
McGraw and Hill will receive the 73rd and 74th stars on the walkway, which lies just in front of the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tenn.
“Faith Hill and Tim McGraw both came to Nashville in the 1980s with big dreams and huge talent. Driven by their determination and a lot of hard work, they eventually found great success – and each other,” Nashville Mayor Megan Barry said in a statement. “Tim and Faith have made a big difference in our city, not only with their music but also with their generous contributions to many important causes.”
Hill and McGraw aren’t the first country music couple to be inducted together. Just last year, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood earned their own stars on the Walk of Fame. Other inductees include Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton and Kris Kristofferson.
If you find yourself in Nashville on Oct. 5, you can catch the superstars during their induction ceremony at the Walk of Fame at 11:30 a.m.
