Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are busy burning up stages across the country on their third installment of the Soul2Soul Tour. At a recent stop in Charleston, S.C., the country couple proved they know their way around a classic, soulful pop song. At an April 21 show, Tim and Faith tackled the 1986 Aretha Franklin/George Michael duet "I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me)."
The pair starts out on opposite sides of the stage, inching closer together as the song builds. The couple wowed the crowd by channeling two of the greatest voices in pop music.
The song was a smash hit for Aretha Franklin and the late George Michael, who passed away last year. It was originally included on Aretha Franklin's 1986 album Aretha. Franklin and Michael won a Grammy for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group.
