Who Will Be Performing at the 2026 ACM Awards?

Last Year's ACM Awards Were Pretty Emotional

Wilson took home the awards for Entertainer of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Artist-Songwriter of the Year last year. She tried to keep her emotions in check as she accepted her well-deserved trophies.

"I will tell you this: I'm sure everybody deals with a little bit of imposter syndrome, but I won't lie to you. I have a little bit," said Wilson when she won Entertainer of the Year. "But I read something not long ago that just said, 'If something is given to you, then you need to accept it with an open heart and an open mind.' And I just appreciate it."

Host Reba McEntire teared up when talking about the time she won her first ACM Award in 1995. It was given to her by her friend and peer, Naomi Judd, who took her life in 2022.

McEntire also presented Alan Jackson with the ACM Lifetime Achievement Award, and the audience was visibly moved by the moment.

"I do wanna especially thank one person that's been my best friend since I was 17 years old, and that's my wife Denise out there," said Jackson. "She's loved me through the good and the bad, the happy and the sad, influenced me, given me three beautiful daughters and helped me keep my feet on the ground all these years."
