Thompson Square's Keifer and Shawna Thompson are celebrating the arrival of their newborn baby boy.
Rigney Cooper Thompson was born happy and healthy early in the morning on Jan. 24, with dark blue eyes and brown hair.
"God blessed us this morning with a little 7 pound 13 oz miracle," the couple said in a statement to E! News, just hours after their son's birth. "It's hard to explain this kind of love. We're so overjoyed. He's already got us wrapped around his little finger."
A short time later, the couple shared a heartwarming photo of their newly-expanded family through their Instagram page.
"We're so excited to be able to share this monumental day with all of you," the couple wrote in the photo's caption. "We've had many wonderful things happen to us but this absolutely tops them all. We want to thank you all for being there for us and our music and for all of your support during our pregnancy. We can't wait to see you out on the road this year but until then, please say hello and welcome this big ol world, Rigney Cooper Thompson."
It looks as though the couple will take some much-deserved time away from the music scene for the next few months to spend time with their adorable new baby. Don't be surprised if you hear new music from the duo in the latter half of the year, which will likely follow in the style of their 2015 rock-inspired single, "Trans Am."
