Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren are celebrating the arrival of their new baby girl.
Ada James Akins was born on Saturday, Aug. 12, at 10:28 p.m. and came in at 7 lbs. and 3 oz.
"It was truly the most amazing thing I have ever experienced. I can't believe that we have two daughters!!" Rhett happily shared in an Instagram post. "My wife [Lauren] labored almost 36 hours. She is by far the strongest human being I have ever met and I have a newfound respect for moms around the world. We are so excited that Willa Gray has a baby sister! Thank you Lord and everyone for the prayers."
"Thank y'all for your prayers-she is a miracle and God is so good," Lauren also shared. "Thomas Rhett and I are so I love with her."

Ada's birth comes just a few months after the Akins family welcomed their first child, Willa Gray. The two adopted their first daughter after meeting her during a trip to Uganda with 147 Million Orphans.
Rhett won't have much time to spend with his new bundle of joy. He'll head back on the road for his ongoing Home Team Tour later this week.
