Thomas Rhett is teaming up with his "Old Tricks" singing partner for some stadium dates.

No, not Blake Shelton. Niall Horan! The pair announced yesterday, March 10, that they will play at Geodis Park in Nashville on July 9. They will then head up to Hersheypark Stadium in Pennsylvania on July 18.
Thomas Rhett and Niall Horan Have Been Friends for a Long Time
While the two worked together on the updated version of "Old Tricks" late last year, they have been friends for even longer. The two also worked together on Horan's song "Slow Hands" in 2023.
"Niall and I have been buddies for nearly a decade now, but one thing we've not done yet is officially tour together," Rhett said in a statement. "There's nothing I love more than being on the road alongside longtime friends—it's going to be a blast for us and the fans."
"When TR brought up the idea of doing these, I immediately got so excited just thinking about it," added Horan. "We've been friends for ages, and it just makes perfect sense."
How Will These Shows Work?
Horan shared on social media how these shows will work. He explained that he and Rhett will perform their own separate sets. Then, they will play together and "do some special stuff."
"This is just the beginning, of course," he wrote. "I'll be doing a big long tour for the album, but these shows are gonna get things started and be absolutely amazing."
Kashus Culpepper and Emily Ann Roberts will also join Rhett and Horan.
Meanwhile, it's a busy time for both artists. Horan is about to release his new song "Dinner Party." He is also working on his fourth album.
Rhett welcomed his fifth child, Brave Elijah, last month. He will also go on his own tour in July and is scheduled to perform with Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs this summer.
In addition to his touring plans, Rhett also shared that he's been collaborating with Christian singer Brandon Lake.
He wrote in an Instagram post, "No clue if the songs me and @brandonlake wrote will ever come out but we sure had a good time. Love ya brother."
Lake responded in the comments, sharing equal admiration for his co-writer. "MY BROTHER. Love you! We gotta release em they're too good. All 4 or 5 of em I can't even remember hahaha. What a day!"
