Have you ever pictured Thomas Rhett and Ashton Kutcher performing a country duet together? Us either! But it happened, and it was pretty entertaining. On Saturday night, Rhett was performing at Iowa City's Kinnick Stadium when he called on the well-known actor to lend him a hand. Kutcher, an Iowa native, proudly stepped up to the plate to help Rhett sing Garth Brooks' "Friends In Low Places."
The crowd went wild as Kutcher stepped out and started singing the third verse of the song. We have to give props to Kutcher -- he isn't the best singer in the world, but he gave it his all. Plus, it looked like the two guys were having a blast, even stopping to chug a couple beers partway through.
Rhett's performance was a part of Iowa City's Back Porch Revival concert. Blake Shelton and Big & Rich were also on hand that night to perform. Back Porch Revival marks the first ever concert to take place at Kinnick Stadium.
The proceeds from the show went to Native Fund, which Kutcher co-founded with NFL star Dallas Clark. The non-profit organization seeks to give Iowa residents financial support as well as help people find opportunities to volunteer in their communities.
