If a queen sits in one of the rotating red chairs on The Voice, does it become a throne?

Fans of the reality singing competition will find out this fall when Queen Latifah joins Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, and Riley Green for the show's 30th season. NBC made the announcement this morning, May 12.
It's Going To Be a Busy Year for Queen Latifah
Latifah began her music career as a rapper in the late 1980s, releasing hits such as "Ladies First." As one of hip-hop's pioneering female artists, her music career will be celebrated this fall with her induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Latifah's acting career is just as impressive. She debuted on the '90s sitcom Living Single, then starred in films like Set It Off, Hairspray, and Girls Trip.
Latifah earned a Best Supporting Actress nomination for playing Matron "Mama" Morton in the 2002 musical Chicago. She's also set to host the 2026 American Music Awards on May 25.
Riley Green Is Also Joining "The Voice"
Another singer-turned-actor is joining Clarkson, Levine, and Latifah on The Voice: Riley Green.
"I guess y'all can start calling me coach... see ya this fall," he shared on Instagram.
Green has appeared on the show before. Not as a contestant, of course, but as a performer. He joined Ella Langley for a rendition of their duet "Don't Mind If I Do" on the season 26 finale. Then he sang "Jesus Saves" for the last episode of season 28.
Clarkson welcomed Green to the show with a voicemail.
"Riley Green! This is Kelly Clarkson, that is officially the last time we're going to use each other's full names ... but we have never officially met, so I'm super stoked to coach alongside you," she said. "Welcome to The Voice! I was stoked when I heard you were going to be a Coach because I'm actually a super-fan of your music, you're so good. You probably know that because I've covered your songs."
We already see a rivalry brewing between Levine and Green, but we'll see what happens when The Voice returns this fall.
