Vanna White announced she got married earlier this week.

The beloved Wheel of Fortune letter-turner and her partner, John Donaldson, joyfully shared their wedding news across social media.
"Surprise! We got married," read the caption. "John and I have been in love for more than a decade and a little while back, we wanted to make it official in a private ceremony. We're excited to share this new joyful chapter in our lives with all of you!"
How Did Vanna White and John Donaldson Meet?
White, now 68, first crossed paths with Donaldson back in 2012. A friend had brought the real estate developer to one of her famous barbecues, sparking their connection.
"I remember looking at him and thinking, 'He's really cute,' " she told PEOPLE in 2019. "We ended up talking for a long time that night."
White said at the time that there was no drama in their relationship.
"It just works," she said. "He lets me be me, I let him be him."
In a 2023 interview, she explained to the magazine why, after more than a decade together, they hadn't tied the knot yet.
"I mean, we've been together 12 years, and I feel like we are married," she said. "Do we have to get married? No, because we feel comfortable in our relationship. You know what I mean? I know that he's the one. He knows I'm the one."
This is the second marriage for both White and Donaldson. She shares two children, Nicholas and Giovanna, with restaurateur George Santo Pietro.

For nearly 45 years, White has lit up the letters on Wheel of Fortune. While Pat Sajak departed in 2024, she insists she's not yet ready to leave.
"At this point, it's one year at a time," she said of her future plans, explaining that "at this point, I'm happy with my job, I'm continuing on Wheel, and we will take one year at a time and go from there."
We reported last year that White and Sajak still get together occasionally for dinners and remain friends.
"[When he left] It was sad for me in a way because I didn't know what the future held," she shared. "It was ending an unbelievable era!"
As she continues her long tenure, White also shared that she and the show's current host, Ryan Seacrest, work well together.
"He's not trying to prove anything," she added.
