One artist is creating incredible photos that will have you taking a second look.
At first glance, you probably won't notice the amazing thing that is right in front of your eyes. But, if you look just a bit closer, you can see the model who seamlessly fits in with her surroundings.
Italian artist Johannes Stotter has an interesting but simple message: "Humankind and the natural world should be treated as one." He proves this thought process through the amazing portraits that make up his collection, "Body of Work."
To create these masterpieces, Stotter uses body paint to expertly blend the models into the natural work of art. The final result is breathtaking and surreal.
You can learn more about the artist and how he creates these fantastic displays in the video below.
Stotter spends around five months planning each of his pieces. Then, he spends eight hours painting and arranging his models in order to capture the perfect photograph. His hard work has paid off, as his mind-blowing works are now going viral.
Stotter began his Body of Work project because he was looking for a way to blend our view of nature with our view of ourselves. Hopefully his work will inspire us all to see the world as the beautiful place it really is.
