In December 2023, her husband, Rodrigo Ocana, was involved in a motorbike crash that left him paralyzed from the waist down. He suffered broken ribs, arm, and back, a shattered shoulder blade, and a fractured sternum.

The accident happened on the 9th of December which is around the couple's anniversary. On December 7 this year, Emma Pask posted to Instagram to commemorate their marriage and share how proud she is of her husband's progress.

After acknowledging her husband's "fearless tenacity," she wrote, "One year ago, life as we knew it changed in an instant. The accident altered everything, but it also brought out a strength in you that has left me in awe every single day."

"To my incredible husband, Rod—this anniversary isn't just about marking the passing of time but celebrating the remarkable progress you've made in your recovery and the unwavering determination you've shown through every challenge you've faced," she wrote.

"I love you endlessly, and I'm so proud of how far you've come."

She also made sure to thank everyone who has helped them on their journey.
