'The Voice': Jordan Rainer Infuses a Bit of Honky Tonk Into Kelsea Ballerini Song

"I love a woman who's sassy."

The Voice Knockouts wrapped up Tuesday night and Team Reba singer Jordan Rainer took home a win thanks to her honky-tonk-infused version of Kelsea Ballerini's "Hole in the Bottle." Shown in an abbreviated segment during the show, Rainer told Coach Reba and Mega Mentor Wynonna Judd that she chose the tune because it's "a sassy, uptempo song."

"And you know, a dog is a man's best friend, but wine is a woman's best friend," she said, showcasing her well-documented humor. "It gets you through the wedding and the divorce."

McEntire and Judd were pleased after Rainer ran the song in rehearsals. McEntire said, "The world needs to hear your voice." Wynonna added, "I love a woman who's sassy. You're a kick in the butt."

Rainer brought that same energy to the Knockout performance, showcasing not just her voice, but also her musicianship as she played electric guitar. Although Ballerini's version is certainly country, Rainer's rendition sounded like it could be flooding out the doors of an old West saloon.

Coach Gwen Stefani commented on the uniqueness of her version.

"It's interesting that you did a Kelsea song because she's like this little Barbie singing this song," Stefani said. "But when you did it, I saw it in a whole new way."

"Yeah, I don't have a Barbie side. Gwen, I'm waring all the pink I own right here," she said, as the coaches laughed.

McEntire cited Rainer's wit and talent as she announced her as the winner.

"Jordan stole the show," McEntire said after the performance. "She's mysterious, she's crafty. I'm her coach and I can't wait to see what she does!"

The Oklahoma native told McEntire, "Love you, hon," as she walked off the stage.

The Voice airs Monday and Tuesday nights on NBC.
