Christina Aguilera has clapped back at detractors amid rumors that she has been using weight loss drugs.

For context, Aguilera recently posted a 3-minute video to TikTok with the tag #WhatsInMyBag. The former 'The Voice' coach describes the contents of her handbag in a video that has racked up over 11,000 comments. However, many commenters seem more interested in how the star looks than what she's trying to show the camera.
Responses like "That is not Christina, it can't be" and "But, but, but, where is Christina Aguilera though?" litter the comment section, often met with dozens of upvotes. There are still plenty of positive messages, but some users can't help but mention something that seems off.
Other users comment on Aguilera's eye color, which seems to have changed from blue to brown. According to Page Six, some have speculated that the star's change in appearance could be from taking Ozempic.
Ozempic is an injectable medication that is used to treat Type-2 Diabetes in adults. According to UC Davis, the medication can also cause weight loss as it mimics a naturally occurring hormone. As the hormone level rises, it makes you feel full. Ozempic also slows down digestion by "increasing the time it takes for food to leave the body."
Aguilera Claps Back In Style
Christina Aguilera posted a reel on Tiktok on New Year's Day with a great message about the importance of self-governance. Aguilera writes:
'This is a reminder to everyone that you are your OWN STORYTELLER in your OWN LIFE.
No one else can dictate who you are.
No one deserves an explanation.
I am evolved enough to know that nothing comes easy, and no one is perfect.
Everyone will judge you. No matter WHAT you do.
And/ or what you don't do.
Acceptance comes with accepting yourself first.
And the difficult journey it takes sometimes to get there.
I celebrate everyone taking the time to put one step in front of the next every day in order to build the next version of themselves for the better.
Allowing yourself grace, patience, and respect...'
This message clearly responds to comments about her appearance. A few of those comments even appear in the reel alongside Aguilera enjoying herself and doing what she does best.
