Performing on stage often brings a level of risk, among those risks, is the chance of a wardrobe mishap. Unfortunately for Kelly Clarkson, that risk became reality for her during a recent show as part of her Las Vegas residency.
Clarkson was in between songs during a show at Caesars Palace and took the moment to address the crowd. However, a strong gust of wind hit the stage which blew her top up, revealing her black lace bra. A video of the incident went viral on social media.
"Uh oh, there's my boobs,"
Credit to Clarkson, she handled the situation perfectly. Sometimes, when an embarrasing moments takes place, the best thing you can do is react with humor.
The crowd then got a glimpse into the superstious side of Clarkson. The American Idol alumn quickly tried to take back the self-depricating joke. She noted how the Lion's Gate Portal means that negative self talk should be avoided.
"I'm gonna be honest with you — somebody was like, 'It's the Lion's Gate Portal. It's 8/8/8. There's so much energy out, don't speak negatively,' [so] right when I made a self-deprecating joke, I'm like, 'Just kidding, universe, my boobs are awesome,' "she said. "It's in my head, so as soon as I heard self-deprecation, I was like, 'Just kidding!'"

Throughout her residency in Las Vegas, Clarkson has showcased a lot of her personality. Just before the wind blew her top up, she was discussing the emotions that come from breaking up with a person.
During a different show, Clarkson also admitted to potentially contracting cyclosporiasis.
"This is TMI, but I'm gonna go ahead and say it," she began. "I don't know if I got that thing, that, you know, like, people eat lettuce. S---, I don't know what. I don't know what the f--- ... But last night during the show, I was like, 'Oh my God. Jesus.' I get back to my room, and I have never been so happy there is not a man in the room cause he for sure would never make sweet love to this again. Oh, I'm gonna be single until I'm dead. It's fine. I'm gonna find another weird motherf---er out there."
Clarkson's ability to connect with fans on such a deep level is likely part of her success. However, it's fair to assume she'll be planning for strong gusts of wind in upcoming shows. After all, you can play off an embarrasing moment but that doesn't make it any less embarrasing.
