One fun thing about country music is the collaborations it brings about. People duet together, tour together, and write songs together. In the case of Little Big Town and Sugarland, it means the former is bringing the latter along on their 25th anniversary Take Me Home tour, which is slated for the fall of 2025.

We've been on this show together, actually the CMTs, we've done a collaboration on this show even, before, many years ago. And we just love them, you know: we love them as people, we love them as artists."

Finding The Perfect Song To Do Together Was Tricky

The Song 'Take Me Home' Has An Unusual Backstory

"Often misconstrued to be about a man returning home, Collins stated on VH1 Storytellers that the song's lyrics refer to a patient in a mental institution, and that he was inspired by the novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest." You might recall that 1975 film staring Jack Nicholson and Louise Fletcher.
The song is said to be a special favorite of Collins.'
