The man, who chose to be named San Judas Tadeo, decided to try his luck and buy a scratch lotto ticket. He went for the $10,000,000 Bankroll ticket. According to the lucky winner, he only chose it because it was the same color as the robe of his favorite saint.
"I saw the green scratch-off ticket, so I took a chance—and boy, did it pay off big time," he told the company after his win. "I was in complete shock — totally speechless." The saints were on his side, it appears, and he won a grand prize of a million dollars.
Now, he's got a pocket full of cash to spend, and he knows just how he's going to do it. He plans to treat his family to a very special day.
Lotto Winner Plans To Treat His Family
First, the man says, he will pay off a few bills and get his affairs in order. But next, he plans to take his family to a Chicago Bulls game. It's their favorite team, and they haven't been to see them play for years.
