The Government Just Released More UFO Footage and It’s Somehow Weirder Than Before

The US government has released a new wave of UFO footage. Buckle up, because honestly, it's the weirdest stuff so far.

The US government has released a new wave of UFO footage. As with anything to do with aliens, flying saucers, or whatever else you see in the sky, there's an element of weirdness. Yet, somehow, this latest round of footage is weirder than the first, and that has caught many of us offguard.

Videos by Wide Open Country

The footage shows multiple clips of unexplainable lights in the sky, orbs moving in weird patterns, and objects flying at wild speeds. Most of it seems straight out of a Hollywood movie studio, yet, because it's coming straight from the Department of War, there's a new level of authenticity to it.

"Another video shows 'triangle orbs' zooming around the sky ... turning from one object into several -- and 'exhibiting erratic rotational motion relative to one another,'" TMZ wrote of one of the clips in the latest round of footage.

It's worth noting this is the third set of declassified UFO videos to be released in recent months. The first batch hit the internet on May 8. The second batch on May 22. Shockingly, with each release, we're left with far more questions than answers. If the videos keep ramping up the weirdness factor, we'll be able to read the license plate on a flying pyramid by September.

Barack Obama Wants To Welcome Aliens, UFOs, if They Come to Earth

If these released videos aren't wild enough, we've also got a former President offering to be part of the welcoming committee, assuming aliens ever decide to make direct contact.

When speaking with Stephen Colbert, Obama shared his pitch.

"Here's the thing, for those of you who still think that we've got little green men underground somewhere, one of the things you learn as President is that the government is terrible at keeping secrets. This idea, or conspiracy theory, if there were aliens, or alien spaceships, anything...I promise you, some guy guarding the installation would have taken a selfie with one of the aliens or spaceships."

The former President then continued by making it clear he would be open to welcoming the aliens.

"I'm putting in a plug now," Obama said. "First contact. I think I would be a good emissary for the planet...I'm friendly. So, I actually think I could do a pretty good job. But it hasn't happened yet."

While it's unlikely there are any little green, grey, or blue aliens hidden away, it's becoming increasingly clear there's stuff happening that we can't explain. Whether the answer is aliens will be something for you to decide. Still, the footage is getting to a point where it's hard to think of anything else.
