The Beach Boys have announced they are taking "a short break to recharge" as the legendary band pauses its ongoing world tour until September.

The group, which kicked off its latest tour in May, had been scheduled to perform throughout the summer.
The Beach Boys Pause Tour Until September
The Beach Boys are believed to have canceled performances scheduled between July 23 and September 3. Although some confusion remains over the exact timeline of the hiatus.
The band has not provided a specific reason for the break.
"Playing for you is the highlight of our summer every year — especially as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States while saluting the 60th Anniversary of Pet Sounds," the band said in a statement.
"We've been having a blast out there, and to keep the good vibrations going strong, we'll be taking a short break to recharge before getting back on the road in September. Thanks for your understanding — we can't wait to see you back out there."
The band's most recent performance took place on July 18 at Wild Adventures Theme Park in Valdosta, Georgia.
While some canceled dates have already been rescheduled, others remain listed as "to be announced" on ticketing websites.
Health Concerns Surround Mike Love as Tour Pauses
Not every canceled show is expected to receive a new date.
In a statement, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts confirmed that the band's planned performance in Bethel, New York, on Friday would not be rescheduled.
"While we are disappointed that The Beach Boys have postponed their tour, we wish them all the best as they take time to recharge. At this time, we will not be rescheduling The Beach Boys' performance at Bethel Woods. All tickets will be refunded automatically."
The Beach Boys had also been scheduled to appear at several state fairs in Wisconsin, Indiana, Oregon and Alaska. Along with a handful of casino performances.
Although the band has not linked the tour pause to any health issues, longtime collaborator Dean Torrence recently told Rolling Stone that frontman Mike Love has been struggling.
"He's struggling now. He's not well, and he's struggling," Torrence said. "But he's not going to stop until it's really over."
The Beach Boys have undergone significant changes over the past year.
Former vocalist Brian Wilson died in June 2025. While longtime member Bruce Johnston stepped away from touring earlier this year.
This leaves Love as the only remaining legacy member leading the band's Endless Summer Gold Tour.
