"That's What Cowboys Do" will be the fifth single from Garth Brooks' 2020 album Fun, following "All Day Long," "Stronger Than Me," Blake Shelton collaboration "Dive Bar" and Trisha Yearwood duet "Shallow's" moments in the country radio sun.
Brooks' co-write with John Martin and Mitch Rossell brings the traditional instrumentation many associate with country music's commercial hot streak in the '90s, making it an ideal dance floor-packer as honky-tonks from Bakersfield to Brooklyn stop limiting how many folks enter through their swinging doors.

It's not to be confused with the Casey Donahew co-write "What Cowboys Do." Donahew's tale of "broken bones and broken hearts" appears on his 2016 album All Night Party and has since been heard on popular television series Yellowstone.
