Guys Riding Their Horses Through Walmart is Most Texas Thing You’ll See Today

On Sunday evening, Woody Fields and his buddy had a hankering for candy bars. So they saddled up their horses and rode to the local Walmart. Rather than hitch up to the Redbox, they rode straight past security and trotted around their local Wally World for a few minutes.

The video has been viewed more than 1.6 million times since Fields shared it to Facebook on Sunday. Here's the clip.

This wasn't the first time Fields has trotted around in public. He also rode through the Houston Galleria, according to KTRK.

Every so often in Texas, you hear of, or witness in person, someone riding their horse through a local drive-thru or town center — it's not as uncommon as you might think. Although, this is the first time we've ever seen someone on horseback in Walmart.

It is not; however, the first time we've seen a man on horseback in a Walmart parking lot make headlines. Last year, a rancher in Eagle Point, Ore. lassoed a fleeing thief in the parking lot. Nothing like a little cowboy justice to go with your low, low prices.
