Willie Nelson Performs 'Texas Flood' with Jimmie Vaughan and Bonnie Raitt

Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt and Jimmie Vaughn teamed up at the  Texas Strong Harvey Can't Mess With Texas: A Benefit Concert for Hurricane Harvey Relief in Austin on Friday to cover Stevie Ray Vaughn's classic "Texas Flood."

The concert streamed live, but you can still watch the video if you missed it Friday.

Vaughn added some new lyrics to his brother's 1983 classic:

Well I'm leaving here baby / But I won't be gone for long / Because you know even with these hurricanes floods and tornadoes / You know Texas will always be my home

The concert also included performances from Lyle Lovett, Paul Simon, James Taylor, Leon Bridges, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, and more.

During the show, Texas native Matthew McConaughey told the story of Texan resilience and asked viewers to donate to Rebuildtexas.org, a website set up by the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation. Texas computer mogul Michael Dell himself donated $38 million to relief efforts.

At last count, the concert raised $1.6 million to benefit the areas of Texas destroyed by Hurricane Harvey.
