According to a

news release issued by Mark Herman, Harris County Constable, deputies arrived at Osprey Point Drive in Hockely, approximately 35 miles away from Houston. They had previously received reports of a fight between two men, with shots being fired. Upon arrival, deputies found the unnamed father with a shot in his chest. The alleged shooter, Luther Madison II, was detained at the scene. A
separate post reported that the victim, the father, was airlifted to a local unspecified hospital.

While talking to deputies, the victim revealed that both he and his wife arrived at the scene in an attempt to converse with the Madisons. Reportedly, the unidentified couple had issues with the Madisons' son dating their daughter, saying that she was too young to date. The Madison would not take this well and, allegedly, began a verbal and physical altercation with the couple.

Shots Fired

As Luther and the girl's father began fighting, Constable Herman alleges that Angelica Madison facilitated Luther with a gun. Allegedly, Angelica was already carrying the gun in her pocket at that time. Allegedly, after being handed the weapon, Luther fired and shot the father in the chest. Herman would then allege that Luther then pointed the gun toward the man's wife, threatening her.

Police arrested both Luther Madison II and Angelica Madison, booking them into Harris County Jail. Police charged Luther with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. His wife, Angelica, was charged with one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Luther's bond was set at $100,000 while Angelica's was set at $25,000.

As per Law & Crime, their next court appearance is scheduled for May 20. The condition of the girl's father is currently unknown.
