Attacks on Tesla dealerships and charging points are one thing, but targeting individual owners seems a little extreme. That hasn't stopped one man who waited at the end of a man's driveway, destroying his Tesla in a premeditated act of vandalism.

Footage from the driveway of Jason Bedell's house shows the masked man making an appearance at around 4.30 am. Bedell lives slightly out of the way in suburban California. He lives up a hill, and in a cul-de-sac, so it isn't like his house is in the public eye.
Despite the location, the Telsa destroyer has sought out the man's car specifically. Initially, he scopes out the area and then leaves. He arrives an hour later with a rock and some duct tape. Using the tape, he covered up the external cameras and then smashed the window.
He continues by slashing all the tires and leaves a note on the windshield. Bedell is shaken by the premeditated attack. He is a family man and fears the Tesla terrorist may make a reappearance. "'I'm a little [shaken] up right now, and I'm concerned that they may possibly come back, and it's not a good feeling, having my family here, my young son," he said of the vandalism.
Tesla Tanking
There have been several attacks at Tesla dealerships and also accounts of people defacing or destroying the charging points. This is in response to Elon Musk's venture into politics with the Trump administration. Some people are unhappy about many of Musk's latest actions, especially his involvement with DOGE.
As a result, Musk has been affected personally or at least his company has. Tesla's stock prices have plummeted, and the cars have become a political statement. However, many individuals bought their Teslas before it became swept up in a political storm. Many simply bought them in an effort to lower their carbon footprint.
As Jason Bedell said after his Tesla was vandalized, "All these people who have frustration against the government and Tesla and DOGE are taking it out on the wrong people. They're taking it out on their neighbors. They're taking it out on just working people. Most of these people are Democrats that even bought these EV vehicles."
Attacking the individual Telsa driver isn't the right move in this situation. It does little to hurt Tesla's stock price and only turns people against each other. This is a fight between corporations and people, not individuals.
