When imagining a plane accident I think most people imagine something happening in the air. A hijacker takes over the plane, turbulence disrupts the flight, an engine blows up, and the list is endless. Most people do not fear anything while their plane is on the ground.

After all, during take off the journey is just the beginning of your journey. Similarly, during landing, you feel like you have already made it safely. Well, passengers had the shock of their lives when they experienced the terrifying moments when two planes collided on the runway.
Two Planes Collide On The Runway
One flight was dealing with electrical issues that forced them to make an emergency landing. Video footage from the cock pit of the plane shows the plane tilting back and forth as the pilots make their way towards the runway.
Everything seems like it will be smooth sailing at first as they get closer and closer to the ground. In the video, a white aircraft can be seen just in front of the plane making its landing. It touches down on the runway shortly before the other plane does.
After the initial touchdown on the ground, viewers can hear one of the pilots scream "NO!" seconds before the sound of the impact. The two planes collide on the runway with an ear-shattering sound. After a few moments, the pilots can be heard asking one another if they are okay.
Skill And Luck Saved The Day
Luckily, while the one seems apologetic and continuously says sorry, neither of them seems to be seriously injured. The Sun also reported that luckily "No one was badly hurt in the collision at Pearland Regional Airport, in Houston Texas."
However, for the planes, it was an entirely different story. Both planes were most likely totaled. The electrical issues within the plane had taken out their headsets and ability to communicate with the other pilots. Without the ability to communicate, there was no way to warn the other pilot that they were coming in for an emergency landing.
The other pilot, unaware of the second plane's presence, had stopped on the runway to make a turn. The result was this terrifying moment where two planes collided on the runway, similar to two cars on the highway. While the planes were totaled, it was through the incredible skill of the pilots and a bit of luck that no one was seriously injured and everyone walked away okay.
