The announcement came during the final two episodes of Season Five of the hit Prime Video series.

TV Star Reveals Cancer Diagnosis on Clarkson's Farm

During one emotional scene, Clarkson stunned co-stars Charlie Ireland and Kaleb Cooper when he casually revealed his diagnosis.

"I've got cancer," Clarkson said.

"No, you haven't. Where?," Cooper responded, to which Clarkson said "Where it is is of no concern of anybody. I've known since May."

Clarkson then explained that when he had unexpectedly disappeared for a period of time, he had been undergoing medical tests.

He revealed that doctors had performed a biopsy and confirmed he had an "aggressive" form of cancer.

Despite the seriousness of the diagnosis, Clarkson stressed that it had been caught early.

"I was praying we could get the harvest done and then I could go and get some treatment but it's going to be slap bang in the middle," Clarkson added.

The conversation visibly affected those around him. Cooper urged Clarkson to take care of himself and offered support if he needed anything.

Ireland also shared his well wishes, telling him, "I wish you a very speedy recovery."

Clarkson Shares Health Update Following Treatment

The season concludes with Clarkson speaking from a hospital bed after undergoing treatment.

"We started season five with me in a hospital bed, and here we are at the end of season five and I'm back in the hospital bed," he said.

"Some of the treatment's gone a bit awry, let's say, so I'm going to be here for a little while. I'm nil by mouth, I don't know what's going to happen."

"But if this is all successful, I'll see you for season six, and if it isn't, I wont. Take care everyone."

Ahead of the release of the final episodes, Clarkson warned viewers that the show would take a more serious turn than usual.

"Sombre news - Clarkson's Farm, ordinarily we try to keep the show bucolic and charming, and cheerful, but two episodes which drop in the middle of the night tonight are, they're none of those things, really," he said on Instagram.

Clarkson's health struggles were a recurring theme throughout the season. Which began with him discussing a heart procedure he underwent in October 2024.
