The Polish outlet caught the 14-year-old e-bike rider plugging along a backroad in Ko?cierzyna when a car collided with her. The impact smashed the vehicle's windshield and sent the teen flying, the US Sun reports.

"At one point, I heard a bang behind me and the operator's shout: 'Oh Jesus!'" TVP.info reporter Mi?osz Sieliwo?czyk recalled of the harrowing moment. "When I turned around, I saw a car driving away with a shattered windshield and a child lying there."

Sadly, Sieliwo?czyk was already on the scene reporting a separate car crash which resulted in the death of a young boy.

The graphic footage quickly found its way across social media.

The video shows the car that hit the teen e-bike rider seemingly never even braking. The driver simply speeds away.

Quick Thinking Reporter Orders Camera Operator to Capture License Plate of Car That Hit Teen E-Bike Rider

Sieliwo?czyk, realizing the driver wasn't going to stop, asked his camera operator to focus on the driver in hopes of getting the car's license plate number. The quick-thinking reporter then turned his attention to the injured teen.

"We approached the girl. She was unable to stand. I saw blood stains on the scooter," Sieliwo?czyk recalled.

The teen E-bike rider reportedly asked to call for her mother, who arrived shortly after via bicycle.

Meanwhile, the driver of the car who hit the teen reportedly returned to the scene shortly after. Sieliwo?czyk believes the driver was simply in a state of shock after hitting the girl.

"He must have been in shock, too, because he got out of the car and asked if something had happened," Sieliwo?czyk explained.

Reportedly, the teen was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was found to have only minor injuries.

Local police are currently investigating the incident.
