Hudson Joseph Meek, 16, died Saturday morning.

WTVM, an NBC affiliate, cited the Jefferson County Coroner's Office in Alabama. Meek died after falling from a moving vehicle in Vestavia Hills on Thursday. Police are investigating the incident, and no further details have been shared about the incident of his death.
His departure was then shared on Instagram through two posts, where family, friends, and fans of his acting work gathered to mourn his loss.
Meek most notably had a role in Baby Driver, where he played the young version of Baby in flashbacks. He also had roles in NBC TV's Found and CBS' MacGyver reboot.
A post to Instagram on the late star's profile included a statement from the family. The family wrote, "Our hearts are broken to share that Hudson Meek went home to be with Jesus tonight. His 16 years on this earth were far too short, but he accomplished so much and significantly impacted everyone he met."
"Please pray for Hudson's family and friends as we all process this sudden and tragic loss," they said.
The post also included that a celebration of Hudson's Life will be held on December 28.

Those who knew Hudson Meek shared their grief in the comment sections of posts about his passing.
Mourners described how Meek always "always [lit] up the room with [his] personality and smile." They also detailed how their lives were better with Hudson in it.
The obituary of the up-and-coming star noted that he was an organ donor. "His family is comforted by knowing that he will continue to help others for years to come," the obituary wrote.
Alongside detailing his many achievements, the obituary also shared his personality. "Hudson's personality was one of a kind. He was confident, convicted in his beliefs, spontaneous, and quick-witted."
"Hudson thrived in settings that allowed him to meet and serve new people. Hudson was a vibrant and dynamic person who lived life to the fullest."
Meek was a brilliant actor who had a great career ahead of him. I hope his family can manage the overwhelming grief that's been forced upon them.
