Taylor Swift will soon make her long-awaited return to the CMA Awards.

The "You Belong With Me" singer announced via Instagram Stories on Sept. 10 that she will attend the CMA Awards 2026.
"LOOKS LIKE I HAVEN'T YEE'D MY LAST HAW THANK YOU CMA!!!! See you there Nov. 18 ?," Swift, 36, wrote.

Swift, 36, has won 12 CMA Awards out of 28 nominations. This year marks Swift's first nomination since 2022, when she earned a nod in the Video of the Year Category for her collaboration with Chris Stapleton, "I Bet You Think About Me."
Swift last won a CMA Award in 2017. Back then, she won Song of the Year as a songwriter for Little Big Town's "Better Man."
Swift didn't attend the CMA Awards ceremony in Nashville in 2017, as she was prepping for an appearance on Saturday Night Live.
Still, the 14-time Grammy winner expressed excitement for her award win.
"In NYC for SNL rehearsals. I LOVE YOU @littlebigtown and CMAs," Swift wrote on Instagram.
This time around, Swift has been nominated for Single of the Year at the CMA Awards 2026 for the smash hit "I Knew It, I Knew You."
The hit song reached No. 1 on US Country radio last week, marking Swift's first song to top the list in 13 years.
Produced by Jack Antonoff, "I Knew It, I Knew You" is an original song created for the Toy Story 5 soundtrack.
The hit song has amassed over 180 million streams on Spotify. The official music video shared on Taylor Swift's YouTube page has racked up over 26 million views in just three months.
Despite the song's popularity, Swift faces stiff competition for Single of the Year at this year's CMA Awards.
This year's nominees include "The Fall" by Cody Johnson, "Somewhere Over Laredo" by Lainey Wilson, "I Knew It, I Knew You" by Taylor Swift, and Ella Langley, who has two entries: "Choosin' Texas" and "Be Her."
The 2026 CMA Awards will take place Wednesday, Nov. 18, on ABC, with Lainey Wilson returning as host.
