The body cam footage of the police incident involving WNBA star Arike Ogunbowale's arrest has gone viral. And it is about as chaotic as one might expect.

Among the teammates who tried to diffuse the situation was WNBA All-Star Paige Bueckers. As the officer is attempting to detain Arike, Bueckers tells the officer, "We got her." But the officer was having none of it. The officer even pointed a taser at the former UConn standout and threatened to use it.
Others in the region can be heard telling the officers not to put handcuffs on the star guard. As they continue to question why she is being detained in the first place.
After she is detained, police try to move Arike into a more secluded area. But the group, which included Unrivaled host Maria Clifton, Aces guard Jackie Young, and Sky forward DiJonai Carrington,
continues to follow the officer who detained her. Upon realizing that he is being followed by Arike's teammates, he threatens to detain them as well.
As the officer continues to walk off with Arike's handcuffs, she repeatedly asks, "What are ya'll doing, bro?" So, In response, he tells the Dallas Wings star to stop resisting.
According to the police report obtained by the New York Post, the fiasco started when Arike was involved in an altercation inside the nightclub. In the aftermath of the altercation, the Wings star allegedly punched one of the nightclub security guards "in the face with a closed fist."
So as a result, the hoop star was eventually arrested and booked on a misdemeanor battery charge. However, the charges were dropped in May
