Tanya Tucker Postpones Multiple Concerts After Suffering Injury and Illness

Tanya Tucker has been forced to postpone three concerts after suffering from bronchitis and a recent fall.

According to a statement from Tucker's management, she has been hospitalized in Texas after fracturing one of her vertebrae and ribs while on tour. She is also receiving treatment for a recent bout of bronchitis.

So far, Tucker has postponed her concerts set for Jan. 12 in Tulsa, Okla., Jan. 13 in Emporia, Kan., and Jan. 14 in Grant, Okla. Tickets can be refunded at the point of purchase.

Although doctors say that they expect her recovery may take an extended period of time, Tucker plans to get back on the road as soon as possible.

"We've been having a blast with the band and fans on the road, and I'm so mad this happened," Tucker said. "I was really looking forward to seeing all the Okies and fans in Kansas this week, but we have to postpone the shows. I'll do my very best to make it up for y'all. Let's hope for no more accidents this year, and I look forward to a great 2017."
